Built for SLPs: Support That Makes a Difference

by | Apr 7, 2026

At Next Level Speech Therapy, we love Speech-Language Pathologists!  That’s why we’ve created a place where SLPs can thrive.  With school-based teletherapy or in-person roles, plus clinical and operational support, our SLPs can focus on what they love – helping students.

Did you know that all Next Level Speech Therapy providers are W2 employees?

We understand the ups and downs of providing school-based speech therapy – because we’ve been there.  As a company owned and operated by SLPs, we know what works and what doesn’t.  As W2 employees of NLST and not independent contractors, our providers are fully supported and paid for the hours they work – including indirect time.

SLPs supporting SLPs

We believe the best support comes from people who truly understand the work. That’s why our clinical management team is made up of experienced SLPs who partner closely with our clinicians by helping them navigate new school settings and offering ongoing guidance and advocacy every step of the way.  From initial onboarding to navigating the realities of a school-based caseload, clinical managers serve as both a resource and an advocate.

Passionate about Mentorship

What sets Next Level Speech Therapy apart is the perspective our leaders bring – each one has firsthand experience in the field. Our Clinical Managers, Ali and Holly, are experienced Speech Language Pathologists who are dedicated to providing support, guidance, advocacy, and encouragement to our clinicians.  Ali and Holly are always ready to support providers by talking through needs and problem solving as a team to ensure positive outcomes for students, schools, and of course, providers!

“My favorite part of the job is working with SLPs on clinical questions or talking through issues they may be facing.  If we can solve problems together, that’s great. If I need to reach out to other resources, I enjoy that too. I like being a problem solver for providers.”  – Holly

“One of my favorite parts of my job is making sure clinicians feel supported, because we’ve been in their shoes. We’re able to provide the resources and guidance they need—often the same things we wish we had ourselves. Getting to step into that role for them is really exciting.”  – Ali

This mindset directly shapes how support is delivered. Clinical managers aren’t just overseeing placements—they’re intentionally stepping into the role of mentor, collaborator, and steady point of contact.

More Support = A Bigger Impact

The work of a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist is remarkable and rewarding.  One SLP can make a huge impact on the lives of many students, which in turn can be impactful for the family, friends, and teachers of those students.  But there are only so many hours in a day. That impact can become limited when clinicians are stretched thin with paperwork, meetings, and constant schedule changes, especially when they don’t have the support they need.

For Clinical Managers Ali and Holly, stepping into mentorship roles meant stepping away from direct services, but it also opened the door to a greater impact. By supporting the clinicians who provide direct services every day, they’re able to reach and positively affect far more students than they could on their own.

“I do miss directly interacting with students, but my caseload was a finite number of students. Now, when I’m supporting other clinicians, the impact can be so much bigger because I’m working with many clinicians who each have students on their caseloads. Our potential for impact is so much greater.”  – Ali

Our Providers are Our Champions

Next Level Speech Therapy’s approach to clinical support prioritizes accessibility, collaboration, and real-world understanding.  We know that many clinicians have experienced feeling isolated in their roles, and we’re here to change that.

“And when it comes to supporting providers, that’s honestly one of my favorite parts. I really enjoy it—being able to help across so many different facets and be there for them in a meaningful way.”Holly

“What do I love most about my job right now is just our team of providers. They’re amazing. I love supporting them. I love seeing the amazing work that they’re doing. I love hearing from districts that their provider, our providers are like family to them and that they just love working with them so much.”Ali

At NLST, support isn’t just a buzz word; it’s a built-in part of how we empower clinicians to do their best work.
